Most of the non-wilderness areas are densely populated. Unlike other CRPGs with wilderness areas, enemies will not respawn. There are various creatures in Two Worlds. Horses are available for the player to ride as well as other animals/creatures. Teleports allow rapid travel between explored regions. While traveling through the game the player will encounter new teleports, caves, villages, and other locations, and these travels are recorded by the in-game mini-map. The world in which the game takes place is called Antaloor. However, the highest difficulty of the game features a permanent death feature. Death in the game leads to resurrection at a nearby shrine these shrines are distributed across the game world, and also replenish health when the player comes in sufficient proximity. As the character gains experience and levels, it is possible to invest gained Attribute Points into any attribute, leading to a variety of game play styles and approaches. The game does not utilize fixed character classes like other role-playing games. There is however, a core quest, centering on rescuing the protagonist's sister, who is being held for ransom by mysterious forces who are scheming to open the tomb of Aziraal, the god of fire. The player is free to explore the game world, accepting side quests at will. Much like in Oblivion and Gothic 3, the gameplay is non-linear. After speaking to Dar Pha, grab the Architects of Antaloor (which is actually the game's credits) and Attributes of Armor off of the reading stands, then go downstairs.Īfter the cutscene, follow Dar Pha into the basement. Use the Sneak skill to cross the bridge above the throne room. (Books are useful for hints and tips, but more importantly, can be sold for about 100 auras each.) Once you're done stealing things, go up to the second floor of the library and activate the switch to open the secret passage.
